The Studio

CLASSES FOR ALL AGES, ABILITIES AND ASPIRATIONS

Offering quality dance instruction in a family friendly environment.

The Story

The Dance Workshop first opened its doors nearly 50 years ago under the direction of Susan Bush. The studio was based out of the Alliston Memorial Arena for approximately 40 years. Upon Susan's retirement in 2014, the studio was purchased by Colleen Ross and moved to its current location at 96 Victoria Street West. Under the direction of Miss Colleen the studio has grown from 80 students to over 350 students and three spacious studios.

How We Are Different

We are the only Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD) certified studio in Simcoe County and one of only a handful of studios in Ontario.

WE BELIEVE IN...

Equal Opportunities for All Students
The Dance Workshop believes that all students regardless of ability or future aspirations in dance deserve the same high standard of dance education and equal opportunities to strive for their personal best.

Qualified Teachers for Every Age Group
Regardless of age or class level, all students will be taught by qualified adults. This means that each child has the same qualified teachers whether they are 2 years old or 18 years old. We firmly believe that young children deserve the same quality education as their older peers. With a qualified teacher as their instructor we ensure our younger students are given the building blocks to which the foundation of dance is built upon.

Our Promise to Parents

Our Promise to Parents
Our choreography and music will always be age appropriate while being paired with modest, affordable costumes.
